Diaa al-Khalidi

Diaa al-Khalidi is an Iraqi writer and journalist living in Kirkuk. Born in Baghdad in 1975, Dia has been living in Kirkuk since July 2006 after two men tried to assassinate him. Diaa's main literary interest involves discussing the ideas of liberty and equality. In recent years he has published a series of short stories (The Last Rhapsody/ Baghdad/ 2006) and a novel (Happening in the Merry Lands/ Baghdad/ 2006.
