Muhammed Abdullah

Muhammed Abdullah was born in al-Kazemia in 1968. In 1992 he was forced to flee Iraq for political reasons. Living in London and Beirut Abdullah became the editor of the oppositional newspaper al-Manar al-Arabi. Abdullah returned to Iraq in 2003, since when he has worked as a journalist for various international newspapers and agencies. Abdullah is now based in Diyala.
